Pranayama is the practice of breath control. This meditation class introduces students to yogic breathing and concentration exercises that lead to a meditative state. Regular practice purifies the body and calms the mind, eventually leading to experiences of deep relaxation, peace and vitality. Some preparatory asanas may be included.

Have you ever tried to meditate?

Meditation has several benefits such as reducing stress, controlling anxiety, promoting emotional and mental health and more.

You may have questions about how to do it like: How do I get started? Music or no music? What technique should I use? How can I possibly make the time? Or you may say things like: “I can’t turn my mind off!” “I wouldn’t know how to start.” “Probably wouldn’t work for me.”

We teach you how creating conditions conducive to meditation and provides practical techniques to start your meditation practice.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel for any reason, we require at least 6 hours advance notice. When cancelling at least 6 hours prior to the class, the full amount will be credited to your account at Yoga Malta (must be used within a month). This credit can be used towards any meditation class offered.

If you cancel less than 6 hours prior to the class, you will be charged the full amount and you will not be entitled to a refund or credit note.

We reserve the right to cancel the classes with 4 students or less. In this case you’ll be notified at least 3 hours in advance. You will receive credit for a future class within the same season.

Is this class for you?

Our yoga class is inclusive and personalized to multiple levels. Our instructors provide modifications and variations to accommodate your needs. We create a safe and supportive environment for everyone to practice and grow. All levels are welcome.

Do I need to bring my yoga mat?

Yes, you are requested to bring your own yoga mat, for reasons of hygiene, energy and ecology.
