The Advanced Asana TTC is specifically designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of yogis and yoga teachers. It serves as a continuous journey of growth in practicing and teaching yoga. In this course, we will focus on advanced poses such as arm balances, flexiblity, inversions, and backbends. Our experienced instructors will guide you on how to perform, refine, teach, adjust, and support both advanced and beginner students in these poses.
Additionally, you will learn how to create sequences and smooth transitions incorporating these poses into your yoga practice. Vivienne is a distinguished yoga teacher and the founder of The Tapas Yoga School, based in Bali. Transitioning from a high-powered executive to a dedicated yogi in 2014, she has since led transformative yoga teacher trainings worldwide, accumulating over 1400 hours of training and 10,000 hours of teaching. Explore the Universal Principles of Alignment applied to classic poses, understanding the foundational structures that support all asanas.
Front Split Drills & Backbends
Deep dive into front split drills, exploring transitions from Wild Thing to Wheel, Ustrasana to Wheel, along with Kapotasana and Scorpion, emphasizing the fluidity and strength in backbends.
Arm Balancer
Master poses like Crow, Side Crow, Kundiyasana 1 & 2, and Galavasana. Learn transitions and techniques to stabilize and balance.
Inversions
Hands-on drills for Handstands and Pincha Mayurasana, including a series of 7 headstands, aimed at building confidence and understanding inversion mechanics.
Mobility & Strength
Focus on side splits and core strengthening, essential for supporting advanced inversions and asanas, enhancing overall body strength and flexibility.

Morning sessions: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Lunch Break
Afternoon sessions: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
The course spans 10 days in total, with 1 rest day. We will practice for 5 days, take a day off, and then resume for another 5 days.
