Yoga Therapy focuses on identifying and restoring balance within the body by regulating the flow of energy. By addressing areas of tension and imbalance, it supports the release of physical discomfort, reduces stress, and promotes overall wellbeing. We start by recognizing the organic flow of energy, your personal restrictions, then, how to release stress in order to be clear, calm and present.
This course explores the philosophical foundations of yoga as a therapeutic practice, drawing on traditions that have evolved over thousands of years. Participants will learn how these principles can be applied through accessible and practical tools such as asana (movement) and pranayama (breathwork).
The training is further enriched with hands-on techniques inspired by both traditional and modern approaches, including elements of massage and acupressure, offering participants a well-rounded and practical set of skills that can be applied in personal practice or professional settings.
Delivered in a clear and structured format, the course combines in-person learning with online resources. Participants will have access to materials before the training to prepare at their own pace, as well as continued access afterward to deepen understanding, refine awareness, and support ongoing integration of the practices.
This 3-day course is led by Geoff Brooks, a Yoga Master with over 40 years of experience. Designed for anyone interested in exploring yoga as a therapeutic practice, the training combines traditional yogic wisdom with modern understanding.
Following the course, each participant will receive a private tuition session (up to 1 hour) — available online, depending on scheduling — to address individual needs and support the integration of the techniques and knowledge learned during the training.

This 3-Day Transformative Program Includes:
Online Pre-Recorded Content – a series of short videos are available to ensure that you remember the intricacies of the practices.
Journaling – proof of journaling must be submitted for YACEP accreditation of 30h.

Yoga as a Therapy supports the body’s natural self-regulating and healing processes by improving the flow of energy and addressing areas of imbalance. Through greater awareness of the body and its patterns, this approach helps restore balance, reduce stress, and support overall wellbeing.
This process includes identifying where stress or tension has restricted the natural flow of energy within the body, learning practical techniques that help promote and restore healthy energy movement, and exploring common movement patterns to ensure the body’s energy pathways remain open and balanced.

Can I join if I’m not a yoga teacher?
