This professional teacher training is designed for committed students who want to deepen their personal practice, understand yoga beyond the physical postures, and develop the skills needed to guide others safely and confidently. Over 18 days, you will study traditional yoga philosophy, alignment, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, sequencing, teaching methodology, and hands-on practice teaching. The course combines the steady, grounding approach of Hatha Yoga with the discipline, breath, and flow of Ashtanga Vinyasa, creating a balanced and complete learning experience.

A regular yoga practice is recommended, but previous teaching experience is not required.
Come as a practitioner, leave as a teacher.
Each training day is designed to balance practice, study, teaching skills, and integration. You will begin the morning with breathwork and meditation, move into dynamic asana practice, then continue with anatomy, philosophy, alignment, adjustments, and teaching methodology.
Weekend: Saturday is reserved for rest, self-study, personal practice and integration.

Merve Yiğit is the founder of Yoga Malta and an experienced E-RYT 500 teacher trainer and YACEP provider. She teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha Yoga, Rocket Yoga, Yin Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Sup Yoga, breathwork, meditation and hands-on adjustments, combining traditional yoga practice with mindful, practical and accessible teaching methods.
As a sociologist, entrepreneur and mindfulness trainer, Merve brings a holistic approach to yoga education. Her teaching supports students in building a strong personal practice, understanding yoga beyond the physical postures, and developing the confidence to guide others safely and professionally.
Merve has led yoga retreats and teacher training courses in Malta and internationally around Europe and Asia. Her teacher trainings focus on alignment, breath, discipline, self-awareness and the practical skills needed to step into the role of a yoga teacher.
